Nissan has released the first official images of the new 370Z ahead of the official presentation at the L.A. Motor Show in November.
The images reveal that the new 370Z in its basic shape does look mostly like the current 350Z. With this design being quite successful so far, why change a winning team?
The subtle changes, however, make the V6 coupe - with a now enlarged 3.7L engine, hence the new name - look even more aggressive. The 370Z will have a shorter wheelbase and thus a shorter overhang in the rear, giving it more compact and dynamic looks with the rear hatch now being more curvaceous. The rear lights receive a new edgy design, giving the car a more distinct look from its predecessor. The sportier looks of the new Z are also supported by two big exhaust pipes and a discreet hint of a rear diffuser.
Nissan has announced full technical details and more pictures to be released on November 19.
