Good news for all sports car purists who are fans of the brand with the raging bull. Lamborghini president Stephan Winkelmann confirmed to Dutch newspaper AutoTelegraaf that his company plans to produce two different RWD models next year: The Gallardo Superleggera LP560-2 and the Murcielago LP640-2. The "2" in the model designation stands for Rear Wheel Drive.
The significant weight reduction resulting from the deletion of the AWD components should be especially interesting for the Superleggera, which is a lightweight version of the LP560.
